Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains what IELTS Masters collects and how it is used. By using the Service you consent to this policy.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password.
- Test data: your spoken audio during a test, its transcript, and the resulting scores/feedback.
- Payment data: handled by Razorpay. We receive a payment confirmation and identifier — we never see or store your card/UPI/bank details.
- Basic technical data: needed to run the real-time session (e.g. connection information).
How we use it
- To run your mock test and generate your transcript, feedback and estimated band.
- To manage your account, verify your email, and process payments.
- To maintain, secure and improve the Service.
Third-party processors
We share the minimum data needed with trusted providers to deliver the Service:
- Deepgram and Groq — speech-to-text and language processing for the examiner and scoring.
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- Resend — sending verification emails.
- MongoDB Atlas — secure database hosting.
Data retention
We keep your account and test history while your account is active so you can review past results. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at support@ieltsmasters.in.
Security
Passwords are hashed, sessions are protected, and traffic is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
